Nicolle Lea Medina is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of clinical experience. She began her advanced practice nursing career in 2005 and founded North Iowa Family Health Care PLC, where she served as the owner and primary care provider for 11.5 years. Since 2008, she has also served as the Medical Director and Medical Provider for the Cerro Gordo County Jail, providing essential healthcare services in a correctional setting.
Nicolle currently practices in Clear Lake, Iowa, where she owns and operates a Medi-spa focused on aesthetics and functional medicine. In 2021, she expanded her clinical scope by earning her certification in psychiatric mental health from Maryville University. Since then, she has provided outpatient psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults, including those struggling with addiction. She has received additional specialized training in substance abuse treatment to further support individuals on their recovery journey.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa (1997) and a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from Clarkson College (2004). Nicolle remains committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive care across multiple areas of healthcare.
Outside of her professional roles, Nicolle is a dedicated mother to her two children, Olivia and John. In her free time, she enjoys bodybuilding and is passionate about anti-aging and longevity, both personally and professionally.
