The story of QuickVisit begins with Stan and Winnette Bevis. Stan was born and raised in the rural community of Collinwood, Tennessee. After losing his father at a young age, Stan realized there was a gap in accessible, preventive care in rural communities. This led him to begin his journey in the medical field - from ER to flight nurse to nurse practitioner. In 2009, with the help of his wife, Winnette, this dream became a reality when they opened the doors of an urgent care clinic in their rural hometown.

The Bevis's wanted to continue to grow and provide healthcare to other communities, and they did this with the help of their friend, Dr. Reams Powers. Dr. Powers is a medical doctor that also grew up in a small town in Tennessee. He practiced in the emergency department and family medicine.

With their combined passion for people and healthcare, this team continued to expand. Within nine years, they opened over 80 clinics across the Southeast and established the first rural urgent care network.

After that chapter closed, Stan, Winnette, and Dr. Powers felt the need to continue to provide access to care across the country. In 2021, they began leading a new healthcare venture in Iowa - QuickVisit Urgent Care. QuickVisit has grown and evolved, and the company now operates six clinics throughout rural Iowa.

QuickVisit believes in giving back to the communities that have welcomed us with open arms. Our commitment to rural Iowa extends far beyond the walls of our clinics. We actively participate in local health fairs, sponsor youth sports teams, and partner with schools to provide sports physicals and health education programs. Our providers volunteer their time at community events, offering free health screenings and wellness checks at county fairs and local festivals. We collaborate with local businesses to promote workplace wellness and safety, and we're proud supporters of local food banks and charitable organizations. Whether it's sponsoring a Little League team, participating in a 5K fundraiser for local causes, or providing free flu shots at senior centers, QuickVisit is dedicated to being a true partner in building healthier, stronger communities throughout rural Iowa. We understand that healthy communities require more than just medical care – they need neighbors who care about each other's wellbeing.
